I'm looking for gardening classes in the Denver/Boulder metro area. I'm thinking of starting to grow my own foods. I have very little experience in with gardening and any help I could get would be great. Thanks in advance!

Harlequin's Gardens is hosting a number of gardening classes this season, including many on growing your own food. The classes have been added to the Green Heart Calendar. Enjoy!

There has been a date change on the “Herbal Medicine Gardens” class being presented by Claire Zimmerman at Harlequin’s Gardens. It was originally scheduled for Saturday, April 18 and has been changed to Sunday, April 19. The start time of 1:00 remains the same. This change has also been made on the Green Heart Calendar.
In this class you will learn how to grow the most successful medicinal herbs for our area, how to harvest and store them, and basic medicine-making techniques. Claire has 10 years training and certification in herbalism / ethnobotany. The cost of the class is $10.
We urge you to pre-register, both in case the class fills up (limit to 15-20 people per class) and in case too few people register and we have to cancel the class. You can register and pay by mail, in person (Tuesday – Sunday, 9-5), or call us and follow up by mailing a check.
